Recently, the London cast of the blockbuster London musical, Mamma Mia along with the four-piece band celebrated the music of Agnetha Fältskog, Björn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson and Anni-Frid Lyngstad, also known as ABBA. In the Delfont Room at the Prince of Wales Theatre, a one-off cabaret has been performed in the aid of The Make A Difference Trust.

During the performance, the cast didn’t sing the songs as they usually do at the Novello Theatre. The evening was enchanted with some of the popular ABBA hits along with huge range of songs from from Benny Andersson & Bjorn Ulvaeus' musical projects (Chess, Kristina) and band members' other solo work.

Interestingly, the 40th anniversary of the single release of Mamma Mia, the chartbusting ABBA song also coincides the grand event. During the 90 minutes performance, the London company of blockbuster show Mamma Mia featured the leading star cast Dianne Pilkington and Gabriella Williams. Under the musical direction of Marcus Savage, the cast of Mamma Mia has been accompanied with four piece band.

More than 54 billion people have enjoyed the heart touching in 49 productions and 16 different languages. The show has grossed more than $2 billion at the box office. On 6th April 1999, Mamma Mia made its debut at the Prince Edward Theatre, London and later gets transferred to the Prince of Wales Theatre in the year 2004. In the year 2012, the musical reopened at the magnificent Novello Theatre.
